Topfield TF5800PVR + Asus Wireless Router
Connecting the Topfield TF5800 (or the later TF5800t or the HDMI enabled TF5810) to an Asus WL-500GP-V2 router running DD-WRT.
This allows you to transfer recordings to and from the Topfield via standard FTP client software
and also update software, skins, logos etc without needing a direct USB connection.
I have used the DD-WRT firmware because the existing reccomended firmware to use on Asus routers
with the Topfield (Oleg's firmware) does not seem to fully support
the later Asus WL-500 models; having issues with the built in wireless card.
